It was when my son turned 18 and reality hit that he was going to need me to take care of him for as long as I could that I had to do something about my own health.
I have tried every "diet" I could but it wasn't until I started logging my food and drink intake into MyFitnessPal account that I started being successful, but I felt like I needed a boost. My friend and I decided to try DietBetter together for the first time, and after that I was hooked.
I love the accountability and the motivation that DietBetter offers. It’s an awesome way to keep you focused and accountable. It’s also great to see and talk to other people that are feeling the same way that you are. People are more successful when they have a group of cheerleaders and supporters!

I wish I would have jumped on DietBetter 12 months sooner (20 pounds heavier than my DB start weight) I could have won so much more and I'd be done by now!!
I saw someone on MyFitnessPal talking about DietBetter. When I joined I was nervous about losing the money, because we really don't have the money to lose- but that's what makes it such great motivation; not only to continue losing but also to keep it off!!
Money is a great motivator, and unlike the office party weight loss bets my hubby participates in, I can choose how much publicity my weight loss gets and don't have to deal with the embarrassment of weighing-in in front of people.
DietBetter gives you that extra motivation when you just want to take a break! I like seeing how many people win with me! Even the "non-winners" still win a lot of the time because they still lose. In the end, so far to date, I have yet to lose a game, I'm sure that day will come, and in the end, I will still be a winner because look how much weight I've lost!

I had been successful with Weight Watchers in the past but couldn't afford the cost any more and it stopped being motivational for me. DietBetter worked for me because I was accountable to me, myself, and I. I loved the social networking with people in the same boat. I learned some helpful hints and was able to provide some motivation and insight to others.
It was a great feeling to log on every day and read some of the same things people were saying that were also running through my mind, it was nice to know I was not alone. I was pumped to lose weight for my daughter's wedding and when The Transformer came along, I knew that was the ticket for me! Six months worth of motivation and being accountable to me really worked!!! I lost 30 pounds!
I like the weekly weigh-ins! I also enjoy the social networking; it really does empower me to make a better decision when I read the struggles of others.
If you are thinking of trying a DietBet definitely go for it! You've nothing to lose but the weight! Your reward is looking and feeling great, and cold, hard cash!

I didn’t feel healthy or able to do the things I wanted to do, and thought that I should do something so that when I turned 50 I was ready to do whatever I wanted with the next 50 years. Nothing I was doing on my own was working because I didn’t have a concrete plan in place
I signed up for a transformer game and paid for the entire 6 months and really didn’t want to lose all that money. I signed up with someone else and we were really supportive of each other and encouraging so I wasn’t in it alone.
I found that it wasn’t just about the weight, it was about getting enough sleep and exercising and changing my eating habits. Once I started doing all three I found success. It takes a long time to get that all in place so it is important to have encouragement from others trying to do the same thing and sharing what works for them. The reminders for weighing in weekly were really helpful.
I really liked the transformer because it was longer, so it gave me time to make some real life changes.
DietBetter is a great way to connect with others with the same goal and feel supported. Since you can always get your initial investment back if you make the weight goal you are really in control of being able to win even more than just good health.

After the birth of my second child, I decided that I wanted my two girls growing up with a positive example of self-confidence and health, knowing that they could celebrate who they were and the things their bodies could do! In the past I had tried to lose weight, but always gave up when things became difficult or inconvenient. I knew that if I made a financial commitment to my own health, I would not let myself (and my family) down.
Being a part of this DietBet really helped keep me motivated because there were deadlines to be met, goals to keep on track with, a supportive community of people who were all in the same boat, incentives along the way, and (of course) a cash payout at the end! I really loved the format of the DietBet 10 - being a longer game with monthly weigh ins - it really supports the idea that healthy living isn't a one time event, it is ongoing and requires commitment regardless of life events.
I would encourage anyone who wants to make a change in their life to join a transformer game and be a part of the community of people who are all trying to make positive changes!

Living in New York City was really great, but it was tough for me to avoid overeating because there was just so much amazing food. I've always been somewhat overweight, but during college and grad school, I gained a lot. When I started teaching, I found that my weight was making it difficult to be comfortable when working with the kids all day.
DietBetter turned out be the perfect addition to my new healthy lifestyle because it kept me motivated to lose weight at a healthy rate. Each game I entered was a new short-term goal, which really helped me stay on track and celebrate the journey as well as the ultimate goal. I've been maintaining my weight loss for over a year now, and I've started lifting weights, so I have some new fitness goals to achieve. I also recently became a health coach, and I've helped my dad lose 110 pounds (so far!), my sister has lost 20, and I have some private clients who are doing great with their weight loss as well. I've gotten some of my family and friends to join DietBetter too. I'll use it the next time I need a boost, and I'll definitely recommend it to anyone who needs another reason to stay on track to getting healthy.
I think the competitive nature of DietBet is what made it work for me, particularly as I did more games--I made it a goal to never have to pay any new money into a game. I started with my original $25 bet and I've won every game I've entered. Although I liked the competition between me and the other DietBetters, I found it was most helpful to just think of it as competing against myself and trying to do better than last time.

I had injured my back a year before and had gained weight and felt miserable. Shay had said that he was starting a DietBet in January so I had joined. I had tried dieting and exercising in the past but failed since my injury.
DietBet worked for me really well because of the accountability factor and also the wonderful support from others who felt the same as I did. The people on here are amazing. When you fall they get you back up and going. There are so many success stories. DietBetter has become an addiction to me as I also enjoy supporting others.
I have been raving to my friends and coworkers that if it wasn't for DietBetter I would have never lost the weight that I have. I would love for others to find this site and just try it. After the first month you will be addicted to the support, recipes and stories of others but the best of all you will be addicted to your success. When people start saying wow you've lost weight and you look great, it sure feels good. It wasn't easy but accountability and support make it possible.

I put on 60 pounds in the 4 years that followed, in large part because I had 24/7 pains. I realized I really HAD to get the surgery; but then, after recovering from spine, shoulder (and a much-later unrelated abdominal surgery), I found I STILL couldn't drop that much weight at a stretch. Diet alone didn't do it. Exercise alone didn't do it. I'd lose a chunk but lose my motivation and focus after a time. I knew what was required, and understood what I needed to do with eating and exercise, but couldn't seem to marry sufficient sustained motivation with the long-term effort required. Weight Watchers was informative but far too expensive over the long run, and group meetings didn't provide the kind of person-to-person interactions that really worked for me, personally. And I just saw the money draining away again and again, week after week. I was desperate to find something that worked. I also know that I'm motivated by competition ... I find that measuring myself against (and with) others' progress is a primary motivator that helps me stay on track. So, I was excited to find DietBetter!
DietBetter provided me with the combination of motivators that actually worked. First, it allowed me to tie in MyFitnessPal app on my iPhone for tracking food intake and exercise calories. Second, it provided me with a community of fellow travelers on this path, whom I could support and who supported me -- and frankly, that also provided me with an element of competition that I thrive on. Just as important, DietBetter provided a serious monetary incentive -- the promised reward of gaining back my entire investment to participate, and even more, if I succeeded. It just made sense -- monetarily, motivationally, and technically. The combination was what it took.

I gained 60 pounds with my pregnancy and with a lack of sleep and exercise as well as bad eating habits for the first 9 months of my son’s life I found myself at my highest weight ever, 205 pounds. I tried finding the motivation to get back to eating healthy and exercising, as I was accustomed to prior to my pregnancy. Because I had been in shape in the past, I knew what I needed to do to lose weight; I just couldn’t find that motivation.
It changed for me at the end of March 2014, when a group of friends decided to start a DietBet. I had never heard of DietBetter so I was interested in learning more. I started with a 4-week bet and I was instantly motivated. I don’t know if it was more wanting to win or not wanting to fail in front of others but it ignited a spark in me. I knew once I got started and seen the weight coming off it would keep me going. I not only won my first DietBet but I lost 13 pounds doing it, double win. After I won my first DietBet I wanted to keep that motivation going so I joined several more 4-week bets. About every two weeks I would start a new one. Then I decided to try a 6-month DietBet, I liked it so much that I joined 2 more.
I like DietBet games because you not only get a chance to make some cash you are also losing weight which is a win-win for me. You get a lot of support from others who are in the same situation as you are so they can relate to your struggles and temptations. I have recommended friends to join a DietBet if they are lacking some motivation or need a little support along their weight loss journey or if they just want to make a little extra cash. For me it’s the best $25 bet I’ve ever made because I not only got my money back plus some, I got my life back.

Was talented and dedicated enough that I competed all four years at the state level in track and won state high jump my sr. year. I modeled my 20’s into my early 30’s.
In my early 30's I entered into a relationship and eventually married an individual that brought much turmoil into my life, which eventually ended in divorce. Through this time, following, my last pregnancy, I was also diagnosed with Graves Disease/thyroid issues and went through an Iodine Radiation Process that "killed" my thyroid. This was the beginning of my fight against food and finding my way through many, many changes in regard to nutrition. The turmoil of this bad relationship added to the depression I felt with my new struggles with my weight and my struggles with my self-confidence. I have yo-yo'd through my late 30's up until the beginning of this year. New Year's eve was a defining turning point for me. I was weighing 165 (more than I ever weighed through pregnancy). I could not fit into any dress.
Mentally, I was ready to lose the weight. I started my first weighing in at 165. My competitive nature kicked back in towards reaching and maintaining goals. I chose to prevail as I had as an athlete in my younger years
Summer is a challenge as I love to boat with my husband, family, friends and socialize however, I am looking forward to signing back up with DietBetter in September to reach my goal of 120 and who knows, maybe start competing again or model again. I learned about DietBetter through Chris Powell’s Facebook page. I am very focused on my next DietBetter goal of 177 by 06/24 and I have a personal goal of 172 by 07/04/14--that’s 100 lbs. I am counting the down 1 by 1 on my Facebook page. I like DietBetter because it gives you a final weigh in date and a number you must achieve by that day, unlike Weight Watchers, where you just weigh in weekly. Little goals are a great concept and are easier said than done. DietBetter does it for you automatically. I view a kickstarter as a sprint and a transformer as a marathon. Thus far I have been in one transformer, which ends in August, and numerous kickstarters. I have won every bet.
Why do I win every bet? Losing is not an option. I am betting against myself. It strikes me this is something completely within my control. My favorite things about DietBetter are the specific dates to reach goals by and the fact that small goals really add up. To anyone thinking about trying DietBetter you should do it!

I was at my highest weight when a co-worker introduced me to the world of weight loss. During the early days of my journey I learned the importance of inspiration and support from friends and family. This is one of the reasons I love DietBet! The encouragement of friends and family allowed me to lose over 50lbs before graduating and meeting my husband. Through exercise and adjusting my diet I’ve been able to manage some of my PCOS symptoms. This past August I started a Doctorate program and decided that running and eating healthy would help me manage the extra stress. In November I joined my first DietBet as part of a wellness imitative for work and I’ve been hooked ever since. I’ve lost 66lbs since last June, 34lbs of that since November through DietBets! I decided to use DietBet for weight loss because there is community support and an incentive. I can talk with my DietBet group when I need diet and exercise advice or words of support. I also do better when there is challenge and the incentive makes me work harder to reach my goal. I need to be held accountable, and having money on the line does that for me. Even when it’s a small amount. It makes me think twice before slacking! It also a great excuse to get out of temptations. When others ask me to eat things I shouldn’t they don’t continue to pressure me when I tell them there’s money on the line. Part of that was due to muscle gain when I started lifting but most of which was fat from eating too much. After 8 months of DietBetting, I'm down over 60 lbs, took 7 inches off my waist and am approaching the weight I was at when I was 14 years old. My wife found the site, and since we both needed to lose weight, wanted to do it together. She thought it would appeal to my competitive side, and she was right. It helped that it was presented in a game format, that it had a competitive element and that it had money on the line. I think the biggest thing that made it work for me was that I realized that my weight was under my control; there was some set of actions I could take that would result in my victory. I could only lose if I defeated myself by failing to take those actions. With money on the line, I found defeat inexcusable, so I figured out a plan to win and executed on it repeatedly. If you're competitive, need to lose weight and refuse to lose when money is on the line, do it. Like they say, its not gambling; you have a large amount of control over your weight by the actions you take, so you can win if you want it badly enough.

After badly hurting my ankle, I was sent to a orthopedic surgeon to have surgery to reconnect the tendons in my foot, plus fix the bone spurs that were causing me a great deal of pain. As an obese mom, weighing in at 243 pounds, it was tough to manage all of this. It was at that moment that I decided to start losing weight for myself.
In February, my sister challenged me to try out this new site she had found called DietBet. Honestly, I was hesitant. I thought it was going to be the biggest joke, and I'm a bit untrusting of internet sites that I don't know. But, she pushed me hard enough that I signed up for a game that she started. The community feel of the group was incredible. Everyone was so supportive and encouraging. Everyone was rooting for one another and pushing them to get out and be fit.
In the past, I had tried so many things to get rid of the extra weight. I tried meal replacement shakes, a very low (and unhealthy) calorie restriction, counting calories, etc. The reason I believe Dietbet worked for me is because simply, money talks. I didn't want to risk losing my $25. I'm very competitive so there was no way I was losing that bet. There were days I didn't feel like working out but knowing that could make a difference between the scale budging or not made me get up and move.
The thing I liked best about the games was that everyone is cheering you on. And it's only 4% that you have to lose, based on your OWN body weight. And I love that there are restrictions that you cannot lose over 12% so it makes sure people are losing the healthy way, not trying to shed that weight all overnight.
For those looking at trying out a Dietbet, do it! Honestly, what do you have to lose? Money is motivating, the community is supportive and all that can come out of this is you trying to be a better you!

It was in December of 2011 that I finally took the first step to lose the weight for good. December 28th was the day a friend ask me to join a popular weight loss program that has you tracking points. That same day I started my blog, treadmillrunway.com. I quickly figured out the weight loss program wasn't for me and I ventured out on my own.
I joined my first DietBet while I was also in another weight loss competition at my gym. Online support communities have played a big role in my success and the DietBet community is no different. Money is a big motivator for me. DietBet is a one time payment that you can earn back and has constant support. What's not to love! I've tried programs like WeightWatchers which as I began to have a better understanding of food and nutrition realized it wasn't for me anymore. It was a good place to start but I quickly out grew the program.
DietBet works for me because it keeps me from getting to comfortable and the games provide a great sense of motivation and community. I'm competitive so I love being in competition with myself to meet that goal. Having money on the line, even just a small amount is a great motivator for me. The other reason it works for me is it's SIMPLE. 28 days, 4% to lose, nothing fancy. I like interacting with the other players, trading tips and recipes, sharing struggles and motivations. Despite it being about winning money from people who don't meet their goals the community is very open and supportive of others. If you share your struggles someone will always be there to support you. If you are thinking about trying DietBet, do it. No, seriously, what have you got to lose besides some weight! If you're serious and committed you don't need to worry about losing your money, chances are you'll make a few bucks!

In January of 2013 I finally had the determination to do something about my weight. I lost 20 pounds in the following months by counting calories and cutting out processed foods. I knew I wasn’t done with my weight loss journey, but was finding it hard to stay motivated.
In May of 2013 I found out about DietBet through a friend on Facebook. When I went to the site to look around I was intrigued. While I had participated in weight loss contests before it had always been high stakes and winner take all. I really liked that with DietBet everyone has a chance at being a winner! I also liked the 4% body weight goal because while it is attainable you have to stay focused to ensure that you make the goal by the end of four weeks. After signing up for my first DietBet and winning I participated in 4 additional bets to help me stay motivated in my weight loss attempts. It worked! I won all of those bets as well. I lost an additional 21.5 pounds with DietBet bringing my total weight loss to 40 pounds and I am thrilled!
I think that DietBet worked for me because it gave me accountability and support. The accountability was really important. I knew that I had to step on the scale at the end of the bet and I didn't want to lose my money! The support from the other players in the game helped me as well. Thank you DietBet for helping me achieve my goals!

My cousin who is a Beachbody coach invited me to join her Dietbet and as soon as I went to the site, I knew it was for me. This was the missing piece to my success. I found DietBet to be motivating because of my competitive nature. I am super competitive and I do NOT like to lose games or bets. I have tried Weight Watchers, MediFast, and a food journal, and while I lost weight at first, I ended up gaining it all back. Checking in daily with the games, along with reading the Daily Carrot newsletter, helped me remain motivated. It was fun to read about others success and failures. We all have bad days, but the positive attitudes of the other DietBetter’s kept me on track.
My favorite thing about DietBet is watching my weight loss graph go down while watching my account balance go up! I think everyone should join a DietBet, it really makes losing weight fun.

I have tried multiple diets from fad diets to Weight Watchers, all with varying degrees of success. After my 34th birthday I realized enough was enough, I needed to change my eating and exercise habits. I knew that I would need support if I were going to create good habits to replace the bad habits I had created over the last few years.
I joined my first Dietbet game in March of 2013 with a small private group that my friend invited me too. Even though we didn’t all know each other, we got to know each other quickly, and became a great support group. Then, as I became more confident, I tried other games that required more money, but the payouts could be higher. The support of friends and the ability to be anonymous in the larger groups helped to keep me motivated and got me through the tougher times.
Now after a year with Dietbet I am 143lbs lighter and weigh under 200lbs. I have never had the success that I have had on Dietbet before. The structure of the games gave me the freedom to choose the best route for achieving my goal. Through Dietbet I was able to tell my story to a wider audience and hopefully inspire even one person to join one game to start their new lease on life just as the people I have played with on Dietbet inspired me.

I would lose it, enjoy the thinner me and then gain it back. That has changed with DietBet. I joined a game back in March 2013 and found a great community that has motivated and inspired me. From exchanging diet tips, recipes and workouts to discussing strategies of how to tackle a social eating challenge or providing encouragement, DietBet does this. By having money on the line and people rooting for me, not only have I lost the weight, but also found the courage to compete in my first Olympic distance triathlon! DietBet provides a sense of accountability without dictating which diet/food plan you have to follow. This flexibility makes it so appealing - I've followed my own plan, but have also gotten ideas from others within the game. It provides a sense of accountability and camaraderie that makes weight loss fun. Try it - it works!

The problem was when I did lose weight I would stop the program and gain the weight back. I went to visit my cousin who had much success with DietBet, and had suggested I give it a try. This time I vowed to lose weight without fad diets. DietBet works for me because it gives me a constant goal to work towards. The other players in the groups provide support to others who are struggling. DietBet is a great way to lose weight and earn money for the new clothes that you will need after reaching your goals.

Boy was I wrong! I have lost 60 pounds since joining Dietbet and am down to a weight I haven’t seen in almost 30 years and certainly never thought I would ever see again. I enjoy the fact that I can do DietBet on her own time, while it appeals to my competitive nature it also it also has an outstanding community aspect. I have received great support and information from other players in the games. There is a group of us that have met on Dietbet and gone game to game together and are all achieving fabulous results! I am not only learning about fitness, but nutrition and food preparation which makes eating healthy interesting and doable for me. I have never felt as motivated as I do now with DietBet. To people thinking about trying DietBet try it and to be involved, read the board every day and post often with any questions, suggestions, or challenges. Sometimes just cheering others on and seeing them succeed can be very inspirational.

I did very well for several years after the surgery, but when tough times hit I began emotional eating. I slowly re-gained 50 pounds. In November of last year I decided that I did not want to lose everything I had worked so hard for so I decided to take charge. I found Dietbet online and knew instantly it would work for me. The goals were realistic, and I thought they were quite achievable, yet challenging. I had tried Weight Watchers, Slim Fast and Atkins but did not like having to eat processed foods all the time, which is even more important to me because I deal with a kidney disease that requires me to follow a certain diet. I needed a program that fit my needs and I found that with DietBet. DietBet gave me the tools I needed to achieve my goals.
I enjoy the community in the smaller games and the big winnings of the larger games, so I participate in several games at once. My goal was to lost 50 pounds, and I ended up beating that goal. I weigh less now than I did one year after gastric bypass. I am at a weight I never, ever thought I would ever obtain. To anyone thinking about trying a game don’t be afraid to reach out to the referees, they are here to help and are awesome! Even if you don’t win a DietBet, if the scale numbers are headed in the right direction, you are a success!

Even though I thought that it would be hard and/or impossible to lose that amount of weight at my age, I began a weight loss and exercise program that helped me shed 50 pounds in 4 months. When I started to feel healthier my motivation started to fade. That's when I discovered DietBet through a Facebook friend. DietBet has completely reenergized me! Through a series of DietBet games I have lost an additional 50 pounds. Having reached my original goal, I recently reavaluated and lowered my goal weight. My husband, son and friends have joined me in bets, with great success.
I love the friendly competition, support, and structure I find on the site. DietBet shows how an online community of likeminded individuals can become more than the sum of its individual participants.

I liked the idea of winning the losers money, but I had also been so busy with work and life that I needed the excuse to get in shape because, lets face it, I was overweight. I noticed right away that I was far more energetic, but it wasn't until the whole DietBet group decided to give up drinking that I really started to notice my weight dropping. It astonished me how skipping the weekend scene really did wonders for weight loss, and because the whole group was doing it together we started finding healthy alternatives. I set up a few trips to the batting cages while others set up bike and hiking trips. And none of it came without a little competition, it is a bet after all. I would include in my daily update pictures of cake or links to maps of the best pizza in NYC.
In the end, I lost 12 pounds and split the winning with 2 other people, but at that point I was so happy to have finally made the change in my lifestyle and stuck with it that the cash winnings was just a bonus. I gave all of my winnings, my entry fee and all, to charity.

I learned about it from fellow Weight Watchers members and a friend online. Dietbet works for me because I really enjoy the motivation and support that I get from the other players. Everyone helps each other stay on track because they are all working towards the same goal. Sometimes I want a Hershey bar but I go to the DietBet site instead because I know the other players have my back. I also enjoy the financial incentive, I use the money to buy nice treats for myself. Four weeks of work gets me a little reward. It makes it fun. The short term nature of the games allows me to easily get my money back and I usually join another game.
I enjoy DietBet because it is well run and organized, the motivation to achieve a goal in a short amount of time and the fact that you are able to play in more than 1 game at a time.

As I was trying to find a way to stay motivated my prayers were answered. My local paper ran an article on DietBet and I immediately signed up for 5 games (the max at that time). Since joining DietBet I have done and won 25 games. I have gone from a size 20 pant size to a size 6, and I am in the best shape I have ever been in. Without DietBet I never would have gotten this close to my high school weight (125). My DietBet friends continually cheer me on, which keeps me motivated to wake up at 5am and hit the gym for an hour or two before work. The strong community and nurturing support has helped me realize that to keep my weight off, I have to maintain my healthy habits. I have hosted several of my own bets and have found that my friends and family are also now excited about winning money to shed their unwanted pounds. I still want to lose about 20 more pounds, so I plan on joining new games every month until the weight is gone, making new friends, learning more about myself and discovering new recipes and resources.
The Diet Bet concept is beyond brilliant and I’m having the time of my life. The $1500 that I won from all my weight loss efforts paid for all my road trips this summer and a completely new wardrobe.

One year ago I was a fat lazy blob. For years, I convinced myself that my weight was acceptable because of my height and balanced weight proportion. So, that first DietBet started me on my journey and I have lost 104 pounds in 55 weeks. I am currently doing another DietBet to get off those final 10 pounds. I feel great!

I had gained about 46 pounds while pregnant with my son, and I still wanted to lose some weight from my previous pregnancy. I couldn’t wait to start DietBet and joined shortly after my son was born. While I have always enjoyed working out, I found it difficult to get back into the swing of things, having two children under the age of 2 and recovering from both pregnancies. I found it to be especially difficult with the second pregnancy due to illness. I feel like DIetBet worked for me because you have a metric to measure your success. I found the short term goals and the ability to compare photos and numbers motivating. I also like that DietBet makes you accountable, it is helpful having to get back on track instead of throwing in the towel and losing control because there is the motivation of winning. I also found that DietBet has an extremely supportive online community.
As far as what I like best in the game, who doesn't love getting paid to lose weight? No, seriously though, it's great to have trackable progress. For anyone thinking of trying DietBet what do you have to lose? 6 pounds or $20?

That kept me motivated through each DietBet.
I liked that DietBet kept me motivated, and it was an attainable goal. The short time frame keeps you from putting things off. I was able to focus more with DietBet as well. For anyone thinking of trying DietBet if you are the slightest bit competitive, go for it!! You won’t be disappointed.

I worked as a freelance filmmaker out of college, ate poorly, lots of fast food, but was somewhat active. I changed careers in 1998 and became much more sedentary and started gaining weight.I did Weight Watchers for a while and had some success. I could drop 15-20 pounds but would gain it back pretty quickly as soon as bad habits returned. At the end of 2012, I was hanging around 300 pounds and fed up.
I was on Facebook is late August and my wife’s cousin had posted a Labor Day challenge. He had done a couple of DietBet’s with success and started his own game. That was my first Dietbet. I lost 12 lbs in that challenge and he followed it up with a Halloween challenge. I think I would stop playing over the holidays but it was too late, I was addicted to Dietbet. It works because I don’t like to lose. I will give up a lazy Sunday afternoon and go ride my bike 30 miles because I need to burn the calories. My Transformer ends in May and my final weight for that is 217 lbs. I have no doubt that is achievable.
I haven’t weighed this little since high school. I think the social aspect mixed with my desire to not lose money is why Dietbet works. 4% is a very doable monthly goal, the regular weigh-ins keep you focused, and seeing other people log their activity motivates me to keep moving. If you are serious about losing weight and want to have fun doing it, Dietbet is the way to go.
